Hanham & Downend Taekwon-Do was established on 28th October 2002 in Hanham by Ms Elise, 6th Degree Black Belt. Our Downend school was opened on 6th January 2006.
Ms Elise has been training in Taekwon-Do since 1994, teaching all ages and abilities since 1998. Ms Elise is also an experienced competitor, and has earned many national and international medals in both traditional and musical patterns.
Hanham and Downend Taekwon-Do is a member of the Professional Unification of Martial Arts.
P.U.M.A. instructors have extremely high standards and a huge amount of experience in teaching Taekwon-Do and kickboxing to all ages and experience levels, from our 4-year-old Little Pumas to elite international competitors.
